Coop @ 5 Weeks!
Cooper at 5 weeks. The breeder, Leann, tells us that Coop's eating 3 times a day & working on drinking water more. They've started the weaning process, meaning that his mom is going in & out of the puppy room for much of the day and all night. She is starting to get tired of them already and isn't wanting to come in when called! Aww! He's just small!

Meeting Cooper!
We drove out to Scappoose, OR, just north of Portland, to visit our new little baby boy! He is a 4-week-old Parsons Terrier, which is a bigger/taller version of a Jack Russell Terrier. He will be ready to come home around May 30th!

Cooper's dad, Flash is 15" tall and his mom, Dixie, is 14" tall, so Coop should get about that big. :) We saw some of Cooper's relatives who are 4-month-old puppies. They are much bigger than this tiny little drop of puppy cuteness. He's so sweet!

I mean, c'mon. Does it get any cuter than that? We are way beyond excited! Teddy is ready for his new brother. :)
EARN it then EAT it

I'm working on a new writing/design project for Rediviva. Last night my buddy Andrea and I climbed to the top of the peak you see here—Hamilton Mountain. This shot was taken around 1,000', about 2 miles into our 4-mile climb and 7.75-mile loop. The trailhead is located at Beacon Rock State Park and is AMAZING! More to come…
