It's official - WE'RE GOING TO NEW ZEALAND!

So, we're really going! Next February 1-28, Andy and I are going NZ! This will truly be a memorable trip - a whole month in one of the world's most beautiful places! Some of the places we'll visit/things we'll do:

Explore Abel Tasman National Park (pictured here).
Take a trans-alpine train through the mountains - the only way to see this part of the island from the ground!
Day hike on Franz Josef Glacier - it moves up to 15 feet a day!
Go crazy in Queenstown, adventure capital of the world
Backpack 3/4 nights on the Milford Track
Backpack 2/3 nights on the Routeburn Track
Overnight cruise on Doubtful Sound
Helicopter tour from Mount Cook

YAY!

A great 7-day trip - hiking and rafting the Grand Canyon

I dig "Best of the Grand with Phantom Ranch".

Day 1: Fly and get a ride to GC South Rim. Overnight in cabin.
Day 2: Hike 9 miles down Bright Angel Trail to Bright Angel Beach on the Colorado River. Overnight at Phantom Ranch.
Day 3, 4, 5, 6: 193 miles rafting the Colorado. Raft, hike and camp, meals provided!

Ween at the Red Rocks in CO!

The greatest thing happened this weekend! Chris Bye and I tagteamed to get 7 seats at the Ween/Flaming Lips show at the Red Rocks in Colorado in July! We missed the presale and I was bummed, but we got tickets in row 25, which is the first row of seating behind general admission! AND, other friends got presale tickets that are way back in row 42! we WIN!
